PAWS Party: Free Dog Party in the Park Past

Have you heard? 🐶 There is a new PAWs party coming soon! This one features a very special concert 🎶… for dogs!

Thanks to the Canberra International Music Festival, there will be a dog-focused music session by Solomon Frank on clarinet and Niki Johnson on percussion.

Considering so many of us live with dogs, play with dogs, sleep with dogs, and even emote with dogs, is it such a stretch to think dogs could enjoy music like us? This concert will sound a little strange, and no-one is expecting the dogs to sit patiently, but it will be very amusing to witness.

We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 30th April for the next PAWS Party!

All the fur-miliar activities will be on:

🐩 Dog agility equipment
☕️ Delicious coffee and pastries
🦴 Doggie treats
🎵 Live music

Don’t fur-get! Families are invited to enjoy the park’s Haig Park Dog Agility Equipment which is available every day, rain or shine.

This event is supported by the City Renewal Authority, PAWS (Pet Assistance and Wellbeing Service) at Northside Community Service, University of Canberra and produced by Dionysus.
