Northside Community Service is proud to collaborate with LGBTIQ Canberrans as part of the LGBTIQ Community Consortium.
The CBR LGBTIQ Community Consortium is made up of the following community organisations:
- AIDS Action Council of the ACT
- A Gender Agenda (AGA)
- Northside Community Service (Northside)
- Sexual Health & Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT)
The Consortium is a partnership of four agencies brought together by the common goal of ensuring health, wellbeing, access, social inclusion and equity within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) community.
The Consortium is a robust, inclusive partnership demonstrating the ability of four Canberra based organisations to work together and build a strong foundation that supports the LGBTIQ community into the future.
The Consortium aims to encourage and build resilience by harnessing the strengths and resources of the LGBTIQ community, including families, friends, supporters and allies. Working with their established services, the Consortium aims to further develop a comprehensive suite of programs for the LGBTIQ community in the ACT. If you would like to know more about the CBR LGBTIQ Community Consortium please contact one of the Northside team on 02 6257 2255 or the lead partners in this project AIDS Action Council.
