We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated candidates for a fixed term full time position of Youth Engagement Coordinator.
Reporting to the Program Manager Engagement Services, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Actively develop service partnerships with relevant organisations and create linkages and pathways for young people to education, training and employment opportunities.
- Provide short to medium term case work that is individualised, co designed and in partnership with the young person that identifies and builds on their skills and capacities.
- Support young people to access ongoing services and supports to assist them in addressing issues and barriers present in their lives.
This position will join the YEngage team in and around the Inner North and Gungahlin regions. The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications and demonstrated understanding of issues as they relate to vulnerable and in need young people, exceptional interpersonal and innovative problem solving skills, full driver’s license and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
