At Northside we acknowledge that the quality experienced by children and their families within our Centres can only be delivered by qualified, experienced and professional Early Childhood Educators and Teachers.

We’re community-based and not-for-profit, and in each of our Early Childhood Centres we plan for children to develop their social skills with peers of all ages, to adapt and respond to challenges, to become more resilient, to develop their independence skills, and to influence their world. All of our work is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework.

We are committed to providing high quality educational programs that support positive outcomes for all children. We’re looking for educators who are too.

We are looking for people to join our team that:

  • Believe children are confident and capable learners
  • Are ready to be challenged on their approach to early childhood education
  • Want to advance their professional career in education, and
  • Believe in the importance and amazing potential of the work we do with young children and their families.

The role will be permanent full-time, with capacity to be flexible with hours.

In addition to the requirements for the positions above the successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the National Quality Framework. All candidates must hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Card.

Northside Community Service is a child-safe organisation. The recruitment process will include questions related to previous workplace performance and understanding of mandatory reporting requirements. Successful candidates will be required to undergo screening to ensure their suitability to work in child-safe environments.
