At Northside we acknowledge that the quality experienced by children and their families within our Centres can only be delivered by qualified, experienced and professional Early Childhood Educators and leaders.

We’re community-based and not-for-profit, and in each of our Early Childhood Centres we plan for children to develop their social skills with peers of all ages, to adapt and respond to challenges, to become more resilient, to develop their independence skills, and to influence their world through art, music, song and story. All of our work is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework.

We are committed to providing high quality educational programs that support positive outcomes for all children. We’re looking for educators who are too.

We are undergoing a recruitment round for educators ready for a leadership role at our purpose-built centre in Harrison, who:

  • Believe children are confident and capable learners
  • Are ready to be challenged on their approach to early childhood education
  • Want to advance their profession career in education, and
  • Believe in the importance and amazing potential of the work we do with young children and their families.

The successful candidates will have completed (or be working towards) their Diploma of Children’s Services, and be knowledgeable about the National Quality Framework. All candidates must hold a current Working With Vulnerable People Card.

As a not for profit organisation, employment with Northside Community Services offers generous salary packaging incentives to staff to increase take-home pay, in addition to supporting training and development opportunities and career progression for staff.
